Who gives this warranty
This warranty is given by Black Shores LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, which operates Beamford ("we", "us"). Email: support@beamford.com. Phone: (734) 219-3082. Our business address is on our Contact page. Mailing address: Black Shores LLC, 847 Sumpter Rd PMB 13362, Belleville, MI 48111. Please don't send returns to this address. Use only the return address on the prepaid label we send you.
What it covers
We warrant that each product bought from beamford.com for delivery in the United States:
- will arrive undamaged, complete with the parts shown as included, and as described on its product page for the option you ordered, including its rated voltage; and
- will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the warranty period.
This covers the whole product as supplied, including any built-in LED light source and driver, whether or not the product has been installed.
How long it lasts
The warranty period starts on the date the product is delivered to you, as shown by the carrier's tracking, and lasts 90 days.
Who it covers
This warranty covers anyone who owns the product during the warranty period. The order number is proof of purchase.
What we will do
If a product doesn't arrive as warranted, or a covered defect appears during the warranty period, we will replace the product or, if you prefer, refund it. If we can't supply a replacement within a reasonable time, we refund it. A refund covers the price paid for the product, plus the tax paid on it.
We pay for shipping a replacement to you. If we need the defective product back, we send you a prepaid return label. You pay nothing for a replacement, its delivery or a return we ask for.
How to make a claim
- Email support@beamford.com within the warranty period with your order number, a short description of the problem, and photos that show it, plus a short video if a photo can't. For damage in transit, include the outer box and the shipping label if you still have them.
- Keep the product until we confirm the outcome. Don't send anything back unless we ask. If we need it back, we email you instructions, the return address and a prepaid label first.
- Once we approve the claim, we order your replacement or issue your refund within 7 days, or within 7 days after the product reaches us if we asked for it back. We email you tracking when a replacement ships. Refunds go to the payment method used for the order, or another way at no cost to you if that isn't possible.
If a defect shows up near the end of the warranty period and you can't email us in time, email us anyway.
What it doesn't cover
This warranty doesn't cover damage caused by:
- incorrect wiring or reversed connections, or installation that doesn't follow the included instructions or applicable electrical code;
- connecting the product to a supply outside its stated voltage, frequency or other electrical ratings, including through incompatible conversion equipment;
- mounting the product to a junction box that is not rated for its weight or for the installation;
- modifying the product, accident or misuse; or
- using the product outdoors or in a damp or wet location, unless its product page says it is suitable for that location.
These exclusions never apply when the product itself is at fault, for example when it arrives with a defect or is rated for a voltage different from the one stated on its product page.
This warranty also doesn't pay for electrician labor, permits or inspection fees, or repairs to ceilings, walls or fixture boxes. If a defect in the product caused you costs like these, such as an electrician's fee to remove a faulty fixture, tell us; your rights under the law to recover them are not affected. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Our Refund policy lists the same problems and explains returns.
Your other rights
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or any other right you have under the law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
